How do I enable emails and notifications for Nearby Jobs?

        Enabling emails and notifications for Nearby Jobs allows you to be notified whenever there’s new Nearby Jobs available in your area. Instructions on how to enable or disable other notifications can be found on a separate page.

        Business owner instructions for:

        To turn Nearby Jobs email notifications on or off from the Yelp for Business website

        1. Go to the Language & Notifications page of your business account

        2. Check or uncheck the “Send me an email when I receive leads from Nearby Jobs.” option

        3. Click Save Settings

        You can also enable email notifications for when you receive new user messages, including Request a Quote and subsequent replies from the Nearby Jobs you have interacted with by checking the “Send me an email when I receive message leads or direct messages.” option.
         

        To turn Nearby Jobs notifications on or off from the Yelp for Business app (iPhone) 

        1. Tap More

        2. Scroll down and tap Notification Settings

        3. If notifications are enabled, toggle the “Send me an email when I receive leads from Nearby Jobs.” ON/OFF

        4. If push notifications from the app are disabled in your phone's settings and you would like to receive them, tap Open Settings

        5. Tap Notifications

        6. Tap Allow Notifications and  toggle the “Send me an email when I receive leads from Nearby Jobs.” ON/OFF

        To turn Nearby Jobs notifications on or off from the Yelp for Business app (Android) 

        1. Tap Notifications in the sidebar Menu

        2. If notifications are enabled, toggle the “Send me an email when I receive leads from Nearby Jobs.” ON/OFF

        You can also manage notifications for this app by going to your phone's settings and selecting Yelp Biz from the Applications Manager. From there, you may select or deselect Show notifications.
        You can also enable notifications for when you receive new user messages, including Request a Quote and subsequent replies from the Nearby Jobs you have interacted with by checking the “Notify me when I receive message leads or direct messages” option.
         

        Troubleshooting suggestions if emails from Yelp are not reaching your inbox

        • Search all folders (including Spam and Trash) for emails from no-reply@yelp.com. If you’re using a Gmail address, check your Priority Inbox settings and Inbox tabs.

        • Confirm that the email address you’re checking is the one you use for your Yelp Business Account on Yelp for Business and that there aren't any typos. You can check your email address in the Account Settings section.

        • Add no-reply@yelp.com to your contacts or safe sender list.

        • Check for typos after you’ve entered your email address in your Yelp Business Account Settings.

        • Check your email forwarding settings.

        • Check to see if your inbox is full and clear out any emails to free up space.

        If the above steps are unsuccessful, you may want to try adding a new email address to your account.
