How do I block or unblock another user?

Blocking a user will prevent them from sending you messages and compliments, or sharing content with you. (Please note that, to bring abuse or harassment to our attention, you will need to report the user in question.)Keep in mind that you can’t block someone from following you or your content. Also, blocking a user doesn’t automatically unfriend them, so if you don’t want a user to see your Check-Ins, remember to remove that user from your friends list. If you’re receiving unwanted messages from a business owner, you can also block a business owner.Instructions for:
From the user's profile page
You will find the option to block or unblock the user on the left-hand side of their profile, underneath the profile navigation section and the option to report the profile.
From the Messages page
From the Compliments page
Please note that you currently can't block or unblock a user from the Yelp for business app; you'll need to log in at biz.yelp.com.

To block or unblock a user from yelp.com
Go to the Messages section of your account
Open the message the user sent you
Click the More Options button in the upper right corner and select Block User (or Unblock User)
Go to the Compliments section of your account
Find the compliment the user sent you
Click the Block User (or Unblock User) button to the right of the compliment
To block or unblock a user from an iPhone
Go to the user's profile OR find a message the user has sent you
Tap the overflow button (the 3 dots)
Tap Block (or Unblock)
To block or unblock a user from an Android
Find a message the user has sent you
Tap the overflow button (the 3 dots)
Tap Block (or Unblock)
From the Yelp for Business website (biz.yelp.com)
Go to your Inbox
Click the overflow button in the upper right corner (the 3 dots)
Click Block User (or Unblock User)
